Bang on a Can Music Festival at MASS MoCA

Join Williamstown Theatre Festival this summer, from July 30-August 3, on an exclusive curated tour of the Berkshires, where world-class music, dance, theatre, visual art are nestled in the idyllic hills of Western Massachusetts. Anchored by globally-recognized arts institutions, including Jacob’s Pillow, MASS MoCA, Tanglewood, and The Clark Art Institute, the Berkshires, which has been home to the prestigious Williamstown Theatre Festival for over 70 years, boasts more than 100 cultural attractions, fantastic outdoor recreation, and a famous farm-to-table food scene. Thursday, July 30

  • Individual arrivals—check into The Porches Inn.
  • Meet the group with welcome cocktails.
  • Your table is the stage for TABLE READ—a Williamstown Theatre Festival original theatrical dinner experience at The Williams Inn. Come curious and expect the unexpected.

Friday, July 31

  • Settle into the weekend with a free morning. We’ll provide an array of self-care options to consider, if you so choose.
  • Immerse yourself with an all-day pass at the BANG ON A CAN Summer Music Festival at MASS MoCA, the largest contemporary art museum in the country. The day also includes a private guided tour of the galleries once the museum closes and meals on your own at the eateries on campus. The museum is within walking distance of the hotel, as well as downtown North Adams, so you can come-and-go at your leisure.

Saturday, August 1

  • Visit the highly regarded Clark Art Institute and its premier collection of French Impressionist paintings. Surrounded by profound natural beauty, the museum also boasts 140-acres of expansive lawns, woods, and hiking trails with spectacular views of Williamstown and the Green Mountains of Vermont. Lunch on your own in the cafe.
  • Experience SHAKE IT UP: THE REMIX—an exuberant mash-up of modern music and Shakespearean verse at the renowned Shakespeare & Company in Lenox.
  • Enjoy an al fresco group dinner before taking in the newest work by the “master of momentum” BRIAN BROOKS MOVING COMPANY at the treasured Jacob’s Pillow in Becket.

Sunday, August 2

  • Travel to Tanglewood—one of the world’s most beloved music festivals and the famed summer home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops. Enjoy a grounds tour and catered brunch before an afternoon concert, featuring Grammy Award-winning violinist JOSHUA BELL.
  • Reminisce about your weekend at a private farewell dinner created by Chef Tu Le at STATE Food + Drink.

Monday, August 3

  • Check out and journey home.
