Annually since 1987, WTF's Free Theatre has brought vibrant productions to the area free of charge as a way of saying thank you to the community that supports the Festival so graciously year after year. Often featuring mythical themes, elaborate costumes, puppetry, music or dance, Free Theatre entertains children and adults alike. Performances take place on the Main Stage in the '62 Center for Theatre and Dance.

Kids and their families are invited to pack a picnic and come to the Festival for a morning of theatre activities on the front lawn, followed by the 11:00am Free Theatre performance.
