Williamstown Theatre Festival offers unsurpassed experiences for technical staff in a wide array of disciplines. Staff members work with some of the top designers and technicians in American theatre. Staff members are provided housing and salary. Staff positions last from early June through late August. Applications are accepted online only. For both current students and recent college graduates, there is no better place to start a career than Williamstown Theatre Festival. WTF interns are fully immersed in a hands-on experience from their first day through the end of the season. Interns gain invaluable experience through work with premier theatrical designers and technical professionals. Many staff members at WTF got their professional start as a member of the intern program, and go on to work at theatres across the country. Internships last from early June through late August and are offered in a variety of concentrations including Scenery, Costumes, Lighting, Sound, Props, Paints, Production Management, and Stage Management. Applications are accepted online only. | | Internship admissions at Williamstown Theatre Festival are highly competitive. Interns are chosen on the basis of experience, recommendations, and an interview. Interns are responsible for their own living expenses and pay $500 for housing. College Credit may be arranged with your academic institution.
