The Williamstown Theatre Festival has two levels of non-Equity actors in residence each season.

Apprentice Program
The WTF Apprentice Program is a hands-on, fully immersive introduction to the world of professional theatre experienced during the summer season of the Tony Award-winning Williamstown Theatre Festival.

Non-Equity Company
The WTF Non-Equity Company is comprised of young artists drawn primarily from the top graduate acting programs in the country. Non-Equity company members supplement the Equity Company in the Main and Nikos Stage productions and take on principal roles in the Free Theatre and Fellowship productions.

Equity Company
The Williamstown Theatre Festival does not accept unsolicited submissions. Eligible Performer Auditions are held at Actors' Equity Association's studios in New York City, usually in April. An announcement of those auditions will appear in Backstage.
